LCCs Kirstin Paydo, Paula Ventura and their au pairs visited fire station number 2 in Berkeley Downtown. The group received instructions on what to do, who to call and what to say when when we experience an emergency. We learned about the importance of smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors, how to use a fire extinguisher and to have a family escape route in case of a fire.
After the firefighters explained and showed us their engines and equipment they allowed the group to take pictures in/on/in front of their trucks. Staff was fantastic and very helpful! Thanks for a great meeting!
